Do I Need to Book a Table at Campo?

Sep 15, 2025

Do I need to book a table?

Short answer: Booking is recommended (but not essential!)

At Campo, we accept both bookings and walk-ins every day. Our aim is to keep things relaxed, easy and welcoming. If you want to guarantee a spot — especially on busy evenings or weekends — it’s always best to book a table online. It takes a few seconds and gives you peace of mind that your evening is sorted.

Why book?

Here are a few good reasons to secure your table ahead of time:

1. We get busy — especially Thursdays to Sundays.
As a neighbourhood tapas restaurant in Whitefield and close to Prestwich, we see a lot of regulars, celebrations and casual last-minute nights out. Booking means you won’t need to wait.

2. Larger groups are best booked in advance.
If you’re visiting with friends, family or colleagues, booking ensures we can seat you together comfortably.

3. It helps our kitchen plan.
With a menu full of fresh, homemade tapas, desserts, cocktails, vegan dishes, kids options and our Sunday roast, bookings help us keep service flowing smoothly.

4. Even on quieter days, bookings help us staff properly.
If we know you’re coming, we can make sure we have the right number of team members on shift. It helps us look after you better and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Walk-ins are always welcome

If you’re nearby — maybe out for a walk with the dog (our bar area is dog-friendly) — feel free to pop in. We’ll always do our best to find you a spot. The bar area is great for casual drinks, small plates or a relaxed midweek bite.

Where is Campo?

You’ll find us in the heart of Whitefield, a short drive from Prestwich, Bury and North Manchester. Whether you’re local or travelling in for a meal, we’re easy to reach and surrounded by great transport links.

What’s on the menu?

Our menu includes:

  • Classic and modern tapas dishes

  • Spanish-influenced desserts

  • House cocktails, wines and sangria

  • A popular Sunday roast

  • Vegan and vegetarian options

  • A full kids menu

  • Seasonal specials

We’re a tapas bar at heart, but we’re also a relaxed restaurant where everyone — families, friends, date nights, and bar-area dog parents — can feel comfortable.

Ready to book a table?

If you’re planning a visit soon, you can book a table online anytime. Whether it’s tapas after work, a Saturday night with friends, a family Sunday roast or a relaxed drink in our dog-friendly bar area, we’d love to look after you.
